There is also the prospect of starting an Infinity thing over at Huzzah. I left my email at the store for the guy over there to get in touch with me. Ideally I'd like to get in some practice for next year's NOVA Open, and in order to do that I'll need to work my way up from starter box games (~100-150 points) to full on well thought out battles (250-300 points). I'll continue to work on and think out my squad as I (hopefully) spread the gospel of Infinity. No matter what, I'm going to try to help grow the game, but ultimately I'm going to go to where the grass is greenest.Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01641232069734414894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6328760837609746891.post-9663625443299585102013-09-14T11:05:32.407-04:002013-09-14T11:05:32.407-04:00Glad I read through this cluster of Infinity posts...Glad I read through this cluster of Infinity posts before dropping a comment. You'll want to adjust your expectations for Wednesday, especially regarding game size. I don't know what size games have been going on (though an educated guess says 60-70), but the "armies" have been 5-6 models of regular dudes, no big stompy robots. Thus far Infinity has very much been a "we don't have time for another round of Warmahordes so let's figure out this other system" game with training wheels for everyone. If you're looking for high caliber play against a finely tuned, well thought out list then you're going to be disappointed. Unless you coordinate with Josh and get him to come prepared for something different. Hate to burst your balloon, but better forewarned than getting a rude surprise.
